1º day

PURCHENA

This getaway begins on Friday afternoon and to enjoy it, we suggest you take a short tour of the town of Purchena, where you should not miss the view from the old Alcazaba. Search the uphill area, leave the car at the foot of the path and in 10 minutes you will be contemplating a beautiful view of the town. In the area, you have several viewpoints to see different views of the Almanzora valley and the 3 villages that we propose to visit the next day: Urrácal, Somontín and Lúcar.

2º day

SIERRO

On Sunday morning we will use it to get to know Sierro, a small town in the Almanzora that hides a very special charm that is only 10 minutes from Purchena or Armuña del Almanzora. This town is reminiscent of a typical Alpujarra village. You can walk through its narrow and steep streets up to reach the Castle (XII Century), enjoy beautiful views of the Almanzora Valley, go down to the river, contemplate the ravine that forms the river on the bridge next to the Town Hall Square, buy typical products in the bakery and to end the morning, we advise you to eat at Asador el Maestro, an old oil mill rehabilitated. Undoubtedly, a magnificent restaurant that will surprise you, although if you do not want to stay without eating, we advise you to call as soon as possible to reserve your table because it is always very busy.
