The Sierro Patron Saint Festivities 2026 in honor of San Sebastián are finally here! From September 4 to 8, come enjoy unforgettable days full of tradition, music, and fun. 🎉 Summary of what awaits you: Friday, September 4: Parade, opening speech by José Antonio Rodríguez Castaño, and street dance with the PREMIUM Orchestra. Saturday, September 5: Midday fair, parade with big-headed figures (cabezudos), procession and first part of Moors and Christians, auction, and street dance with Pekado Mobile Disco. Sunday, September 6: Dianas (morning music), midday fair, second part of Moors and Christians, mass, and street dance with the Odysseus Orchestra. Monday, September 7: Popular paella, great Children’s Day with inflatables and foam party, and night street dance. Tuesday, September 8: Cucañas (traditional games), sports trophy presentation, and the grand End-of-Festivities Firecracker Run (Traca). 🚴‍♂️ The best mountain biking is back in Tíjola! 🚴‍♀️ The 3rd “El Corazón de las Estancias” MTB Route is here! This event has firmly established itself on the sporting calendar of both our province and all of Andalusia. This year, the big day will be Sunday, September 6, with Higueral serving as the main meeting point. Additionally, the race will once again count toward the Provincial XCM Circuit, attracting the best cyclists in the area. As a sign of the high level of competition ahead, this year’s poster features our talented local rider, María González Castillo 🙌. ALBOX IS ONCE AGAIN CYCLING UNDER THE STARS WITH THE ‘GINÉS PÉREZ MATEOS’ MEMORIAL AT ITS 16TH ANNUAL ALBOX-EL SALIENTE-ALBOX NIGHT-TIME MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDE 2026. Next Friday, 25 September, Albox will once again host one of its most special sporting events: the 16th Albox-El Saliente-Albox Night-Time Mountain Bike Ride, the “Ginés Pérez Mateos” Memorial 2026.
