Trail Reul Alto – Laroya

The trail Reul Alto – PR-A 372 goes into the heart of the Sierra de Los Filabres, starts in the village of Laroya, at 850 m altitude, passes through a gorge of rolled stones and ascends the mountainside, passing by the farmhouse El Reul Alto, a name brought from Navarra in the time of the Reconquest. There you will find La Fuente, where the hiker can refresh himself.
On reaching the Juan Felipe stone we can contemplate the whole mountain range, the Almanzora valley and the marble quarries. Along the way we are accompanied by a multitude of holm oaks, but we also find pines, almond and olive trees.
