Visit to the Mining Town of Las Menas in Serón

We will take a guided tour of the Las Menas Mining Town, an old town nestled in the Sierra de los Filabres. Iron was extracted from this place from the end of the 19th century until 1968. Up to 2,900 people came to work in everything related to mining activity. Within Las Menas Mining Town you can see multiple important buildings of the time, some are completely restored; others are in the process of restoration, we are talking about the houses of the Director of the mines and the Assistant Directors; and many others are found just as they were after the emigration of the inhabitants after the closure of the mines.
