Virgen del Carmen Festivities at Tíjola Station 2026

10, 11 and 12 July 2026

Friday 10th
10.30 pm. “Virgen del Socorro Choir and Dance Association”
00:00. Coronation of “Mister and Queens of Tíjola Station 2026”
00:30. Grand open-air dance featuring the “TRAVIATA” orchestra and a DJ.

Saturday 11th
18:00. Start of the traditional pilgrimage in honour of the Virgin of Carmen.
Route: Tíjola Station – Camino Viejo – Cela Canalito – Cañalara – Tíjola Station.
ALL PARTICIPATING FLOATS WILL BE PRESENTED WITH A GIFT.
23:30. Followed by a tribute to Juan Martínez Cuevas, a resident of Tíjola Station.
Midnight. Grand open-air dance featuring the “TRAVIATA” orchestra and a DJ.

Sunday 12th
8.00 pm. Mass in honour of the “Virgen del Carmen”, followed by the traditional procession accompanied by the Sierro Brass Band.
Route: Tíjola railway station – Algaida.
