VII CxM La Pólvora – Charity Race

The Cantoria Town Council is organizing the VII La Pólvora Mountain Race, a sporting event included in the municipal calendar of sporting and mountain activities, with the collaboration of various local and regional entities.

The race will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2026, starting and finishing at the Plaza de la Constitución in Cantoria (Almería), and will take place entirely in the natural surroundings of the Sierra de los Filabres, within the municipal area.

The event seeks to promote the values of sport in nature, respect for the environment, coexistence, and the spirit of self-improvement, under the principles of safety, sustainability, and responsible organization.

• Long Race: 24.4 km
• Short Race: 13.5 km
• Hiking 13.5 km
