This trail runs through the foothills of the Sierra de Filabres, from Purchena up to the recreational area of Silveria and back to Purchena. It is located in the Alto Almanzora region.
The geological diversity is very clear when we walk along the bed of the Rambla de Almería, to contrast with the views of the Almanzora valley that we observe during our journey through the Alhamí, Silveria and Solana. The geological materials correspond to the metamorphic materials of the nevado-filábride, composed mainly of quartzite, mica schist and siliceous slate. In the northern area there are materials such as islets formed by limestones and dolomites.
