See how the vegetables are roasted by hand, how they are cooked in a bain-marie and how they are packed by hand, all natural with no additives, colourings or preservatives. The visit ends with a small tasting.

Industrias Alimenticias de Suflí, SL. was founded in 1985 to promote and make known the traditional canned food that for so many years the local people had produced for consumption with the vegetables they grew on the banks of the river Almanzora.

We will explain how the artisan tradition is maintained in many of the processes of making preserves and jams, just as our parents and grandparents did. The vegetables are still from our land, the machines used have a heart and the peppers, tomatoes, onions, aubergines, etc. are roasted, cooked and packed by hand. We use the “Bain Marie” to preserve our products without the ingredients losing quality and flavour and, most importantly, without any additives, just the delicious vegetables.

There are no preservatives, no colourings, no acidulants, nothing. This allows us to offer a product that is one hundred percent natural, as it is only vegetables or fruit, and artisan in the way it is made.

You will be able to see that, after 30 years, we make a wide range of handmade and natural preserves, as well as some homemade jams worth tasting.

We will end the visit with a small and tasty tasting.
