Sierro hosts the III Jornadas de Castellología, sistemas defensivos rurales del Valle del Almanzora (III Conference on Castellología, rural defensive systems of the Almanzora Valley) on 12 August 2023.

18,00 h. Ms. Melina Rubio Rubio. “Analysis of the archaeological excavation of the castle of Sierro in 2009. Graduate in Geography and History. Archaeologist. University of Seville.

19,00 h. Guided visit to the hisn of Sierro. Depending on the number of people registered, several groups may be formed for the visit to the castle, coordinated by the speakers at the conference.
