The Cortijo Al-Damuz is located on the outskirts of El Daimuz, a small hamlet of Oria (Almería), 10 minutes by car from Oria, composed of a small group of farmhouses scattered among each other, which currently has 16 inhabitants, where it is still possible to enjoy the tranquility of a rural environment: the awakening of the roosters, the movement of the shepherds …

It is possible to buy eggs and garden produce from local farmers.

It has capacity for a maximum of 5 people.

The farmhouse, built in 1900 is composed of a living room with fireplace, kitchen with everything you need and magnificent views, a bathroom, three bedrooms and a great solarium. It is surrounded by a plot of about 1000 square meters in the form of terraces with various fruit trees and shade. They can park 4 cars.

It is restored with much caprice, in principle for personal enjoyment. It has kept all the initial structure (the walls are more than half a meter thick), only reforming the kitchen, bathroom and some rooms that used to be haystacks.

You can go down to the Cueva del Saliente, recently discovered by the speleology group of Velez Rubio, after contacting them, who supply all the necessary equipment.
You can make excursions to nearby towns, such as Oria, Albox, El Saliente Sanctuary, Chirivel, Sierra Maria-Los Velez Natural Park, Velez Blanco, with its impressive castle, Sierra de Baza Natural Park, Vera and Mojacar beaches. 40 minutes by car, etc.
Granada, Murcia and Almeria are 1.30 hours away by car so you can go to any of them.
