Sierro and Moors and Christians Festivals 2025

From 5 to 9 September 2025 in Sierro (Almería)

PROGRAMME SUMMARY:

Friday, 5 September

The day begins with music by the San Sebastián Brotherhood Band, followed by the opening speech by “Los Serranos”, which will kick off the festivities. In the evening, there will be a popular open-air dance enlivened by the Davinci Orchestra and a musical trio.

Saturday, 6 September

In the morning, the Midday Fair spreads through the village bars. In the afternoon, the first part of the Procession and Relación de Moros y Cristianos (Moors and Christians) is celebrated. The day ends with an auction and a popular street party with the Davinci Orchestra and the Pekado mobile disco.

Sunday, 7 September

The programme includes another Midday Fair and the second part of the Procession of Moors and Christians. A mass and a solemn rosary are also held. The night ends with a street party by the Odisseus Orchestra.

Monday, 8 September

This day is dedicated to the Procession and Mass in honour of deceased brothers and sisters. At lunchtime, there will be a popular paella. The afternoon will be dedicated to the little ones with Children’s Day, which will include inflatables and a foam party. The evening dance will be led by the Odisseus Orchestra.

Tuesday, 9 September

The last day of the festivities will feature the presentation of trophies for the summer tournaments and will culminate at midnight with the final fireworks display.
